It's monday, more than 2 weeks since the last weeknote. I love the idea, and I wish I could catch the weekly rhythm, but I struggle and then I think: "how the hell is anyone able to do same thing every week?!", but then I remember about everyday morning dog walk I've been doing for quite some time now, and I feel there is still some hope.

Some kind of finalizing work with mastodon instance djs.social has been done. I'm now happy with the setup. All in all: it's been successfuly transfered to masto.host, domain taken over, updated rules, instance blocks, code of conduct, improved descriptions and wrote an 'invite' toot. Let's see what happens. I love DJ-jing and it seemed a shame that this instance/domain would go away. There's a LiberaPay for donations, but nobody is yet donating anything. There's very few active accounts at the moment, so we need some more people first and see if it gets to sustainability.

The work on new project with M. (Image Snatchers presents...) is ... well ... not going very well. The main problem that I mainly struggle with is the procrastination, pushing the work away, despite the fact it's the work I like to do. How does one explain this to oneself? You are pushing away the work you love to do above all else (music making, composition)? Focusmate is the only thing that saves me when I manage to convince myself to use it.

Our country got some serious flooding two weeks ago. So serious, it's monumental. Eastern half of the country is most affected, four dead, hundreds left without their houses, the damage is in millions. The repars will take years.

Been at Maruša's with the new idea of usb-booklet design with a cross-stitch binding and hidden compartment for usb stick. She's excited about the idea and will do a prototype, but we took it as a long-term no-rush research project. This year's Kamizdat releases will be made the usual way with three-part binding as before. Perhaps the cross-stitch is too labour intensive so that it does not make sense to make more then 10 booklets in which case I'd try to keep that design for one of my albums. I've also ordered a batch of 250 new so-called wallet usb sticks of 8G size. I've done some research how to create a custom bootable live ubuntu USB, so maybe we can have a Kamizdat OS on there with SuperCollider already installed.

DJ-d at Klub Monokel a two our set at pre-order launch of Festival Grounded Peace VA compilation. It was fun, was quite happy with it. I prepared and that was good. Two young DJs later came to me and komplimented me and had some questions which controller I use (Livid OHM RGB) and how I use it. These are people from the queer scene and I felt honoured to be addressed. Really!

I did some system administration on my own self-hosted mastodon instance based on glitch-soc mastodon fork kampa.si and it was ok, but after paying some hosting bills decided to try to save those 5€/m and decided to wrap it up. So kampa.si is no more. Bye.

I couldn't restrain myself, I still dream about my own simple indexing content management system - for now written in PHP, so I kinda started (again) some little work on it and decided to go with a new domain. So I bought princic.studio and am now working on luka.princic.studio.
