It's been forteen days since the last weeknote post, but I kinda don't care much. Actually, that's not true. I am trying to convince myself that I don't care much. I'm in fact struggling to give less importance to these weekly notes because they were at first easy to write and became an activity that I seemingly was successful at.

And now, I'm trying to shoot myself in the leg for some reason with creating this more important while it should actually be just a few scribled notes on a past week. That's what made them easy in the first place.

So. This is not a journal. These are notes. A few bullet points. Ok?
Vacations were largely a success. A mild inconvenience that we hated: loudness of people around us. We don't want it next time. Other than that, it was lovely, especially the last 5 or so days, after a short storm the air got slightly chiller and temperature went from 33°C to 27°C and it was just heavenly. We ate great, all cooked at home, had enough food and all utensils and condiments (olive oil!) that we so often need to buy. The sea was clear and a bit too warm but very enjoyable anyway. Our doggo seemed to have enjoyed herself too, with minor pains in the leg for two days, but that passed with slighly longer walks.
I seem to have a hard time coming back in the studio or perhaps it's about hometown, with some long task lists. I had some procrastination evenings that went far too long into the night (morning) and that was really not a pleasant experience. Hurting myself and not understanding why. I hope to fix it next week. Perhaps getting back to FocusMate would not be a bad idea.
Grounded - Peace is a compilation of 25 tracks from various artists, some from Slovenia and some from around the world, but all connected to Ljubljana's Festival Grounded - a seemingly impossible combination of critical theory and underground electronic dance music. They (Pritličje/Warrego Valles) have been doing it since 2015 and it's one of the best things happening in Ljubljana. I was honored to be able to contribute a track to the compilation which came out yesterday. There was even a review in Mladina (weekly) that didn't miss my work completely. I do feel the track could be mixed better. The 'last-minute' mode does contribute to some sloppiness in this regard. But I'm happy.

Yesterday should've also been pre-order event with some sets in Pritličje and some in Klub Monokel. I was looking forward to that although I was very sleepy. A prepared. Made my nails. Worked on the playlist. But the weather was too much. Slovenia was flooded as it wasn't ever and this made such mood of extreme conditions and some of the performers were stranded, so finally it was postponed. It left me with mixed feelings.
Some decent work was done on organisation side of Kamizdat releases. Things are moving forward but some are still critically behind. I hope to get these things further along the plans.
